Switches
An AVB network relies on an intelligent AVB switch to analyze network traffic and ensure that critical audio data is prioritized when connecting more than two devices. This guarantees the low-latency, high-quality audio performance for which AVB is known. The PreSonus® SW5E AVB switch fully complies to the AVB standard while providing Power over Ethernet (PoE) to devices that can take advantage of it, like the PreSonus EarMix 16M.
Dante® Options
The PreSonus AVB-D16 is the first plug-and-play endpoint that bridges AVB and Dante® networks. Send and receive up to 16 audio channels between an AVB and Dante network with one simple device. Simply connect one or more AVB-D16 AVB-to-Dante bridges to your existing StudioLive Series III AVB network to add 16 channels of Dante I/O with each bridge. AVB-D16 makes the vision of plug-and-play functionality between audio networks a reality!
